Data Security & Governance

Private by
Architecture.

Government platforms derive trust from official credibility. Sidra derives trust from a different source entirely — private-office governance, controlled access, and client-side stewardship.

Your portfolio data is not a market signal. It is not shared, benchmarked, or monetised. It is held in strict confidence and released only under conditions you define.

Why this matters in Dubai

Dubai REST serves the market.
Sidra serves the client.

Official real estate infrastructure — property wallet, rental return data, service charge visibility, lease registrations — provides valuable market-level transparency. That is its purpose and its strength.

Sidra operates at a different layer: the private portfolio. Here, discretion is not a feature — it is the foundation. Our governance architecture ensures that the intelligence you build within Sidra stays within Sidra, subject only to your instructions.

The governance layer

Eight principles of private custody

01Access

Role-Based Access Control

Every user session is scoped to a defined role. An operator cannot see financial data. A tenant cannot view another tenant's lease. Access is granted by the account owner — not assumed by default.

02Permissions

Owner, RM, Tenant & Developer Permissions

Distinct permission sets govern what each party sees and does. Portfolio owners hold master control. Relationship managers operate within delegated scope. Tenants access only their own lease and payment data. Developers and agents receive read-only views of what they've been explicitly granted.

03Documents

Secure Document Vault

Title deeds, Ejari contracts, NOC letters, service charge receipts, and passport copies are held in isolated, access-controlled object storage. Shareable links are tokenised, scoped to a recipient, and expire automatically. No document is publicly accessible.

04Compliance

Full Audit Trail

Every meaningful action — login, document access, status change, payment record, role change — is written to an immutable activity log with a timestamp and attributed actor. This log is available for client review and supports regulatory or legal inquiry without any reconstruction.

05Sharing

Consent-Based Sharing

Nothing leaves the platform without deliberate authorisation. Share links require the account owner to generate them explicitly. There is no passive, algorithmic, or background data transfer to third parties — including agents, developers, or market research providers.

06Privacy

No Unauthorised Benchmarking

Your portfolio data — property values, rental yields, lease terms, tenant profiles — is never aggregated into market benchmarks, sold to data brokers, or shared with any party beyond your explicitly designated team. Sidra is not a data product. It is a private-office tool.

07Ownership

Exportable Client Reports

All data entered into Sidra belongs to the client. Portfolio summaries, financial reports, lease schedules, and payment histories can be exported at any time in structured formats. If you choose to leave, your data leaves with you — completely and immediately.

08Governance

Human Review Before Legal or Regulatory Action

No automated system within Sidra triggers legal notices, regulatory filings, or enforcement actions. Any output that could have legal consequence — rent increase notices, Ejari submissions, DLD correspondence — requires explicit human review and sign-off before dispatch.

Due Diligence

Governance questions are welcome.

If you have specific security, compliance, data residency, or access control requirements — including due diligence for institutional investors or family offices — we are happy to discuss them directly with your team or legal counsel.
